Gilgamesh the King by Roger Silverberg. It's a novel, I'm not sure it is the same as the original Gilgamesh tale written in antiquity. Probably not. Has the story of the old tale probably with a lot of additional stuff to make a novel. Interesting.

Don't ask me to do anything where where I can't take Bible and Gun, I would leave Dog home, but reluctantly.

I've been getting a sneak peek at some of it and I think 'with guns' might be relative...

July's shooting times has a great thread on the uberti 1873 makes me drool over the cold bluing job on their test rifle. I got the magazine script as add on to Firearm news 21 bucks for both for a year not bad for some printed reading. Been a few years since I had either it used to be shotgun news. How fast things change.

If you're a John Sandford fan he has a new Prey out titled Extreme Prey.
Just picked it up at the local library and it's a typical Lucas Davenport
page turner !

Currently Taylor Anderson's Destroyermen series currently on #9. It's an alternate world that starts in the Java Sea at the start of WW II.
