I would guess either July 2, 1997 or the 72nd day of 1997.

Mine is a 357. I bought it back in the late 80s. At the time I was a deputy sheriff in a rural county. We had to furnish our own firearms back in that era, and I wanted a carbine compatible with the revolver I carried. Its always been a performer and is still one of my favorites.

That's a first that I've heard of a Rossi being carried in law enforcement! Nice!PRM1 wrote:Mine is a 357. I bought it back in the late 80s. At the time I was a deputy sheriff in a rural county. I'm far from a LEO but if I were in a rural county I'd carry my .357 SRC and my .357 NMBH if allowed.

I went whole hog, and have 4 R-92s. All round bbls. .357 blue, 20 in, .44 mag SS, 20in, .44/40 blue CC, 20 in, and a SS 16in, .45 colt. They all shoot excellent, I have gone thru them all, and refinished all the stocks.

Should be a reference with these messages. Or if it was typed at least once maybe I would figure it out.rondog wrote:I'm guessing Ruger New Model Blackhawk.Steve-R wrote:What is an NMBH?GasGuzzler wrote:I'm far from a LEO but if I were in a rural county I'd carry my .357 SRC and my .357 NMBH if allowed.
