Thanks for the link to your pics. Looks great! Quick question, did you tap the barrel to mount this?
I have an octagon barrel, so it may mount very nicely, but that makes me kind of nervous.

It’s mounted on a NOE rail that mounts to the factory D&T to be found on round barrels. I think you have to do your own D&T on octagonal barrels and find a flat bottom rail. I’d be nervous, too. Somebody on the forum with more savvy on octagonal barrels might be able to suggest a better solution.

I like a Burris 2 x 7 pistol scope. Comes in nickel so it looks good on the stainless barrel.

I do have a Romeo 5 installed with the low mount. Picked it up new for around $120.
