Another SS 454 Casull popped up on GunBroker today, this one with 16" barrel. It had a "Buy Now" price of $557 and was gone in minutes.

Yeah, it was a NIB rifle so that is the second one in a week. May be they are starting to flow in. I would have a real tough time not buying a "blue" rifle.

The gun wasn't at GBs long enough to cast a shadow.
That 16" SS 454 is the cat's meow for light yet effective brush guns.
A fellow engineer ( mechanical) who is also a trained machinist (went back to university after working as a machinist for a few years - he gets bored easily) has worked out a process to convert these 92s to takedowns at least on paper so far.
When I see the prototype up and running I plan on contracting him to convert a couple of my Rossi 92s.
The guys a project bloodhound and won't stop until he is putting holes in paper with his home made takedown 92.

A takedown would be a very interesting rifle!

I think a take down 92 rifle, if well made would be nice. I would like a 92 in the hornady .17 hornet light and easy to pack away yet very accurate and still decent range easy to pack alot of ammo. Not for big game protection or hog hunting I wouldnt think unless you are super accurate shooter. I am interested in take down rifles and small calibers for most of what I do.

Another SS 92 chambered in 454 sold in four hours today from the opposite side of the country. Looks like these rifles are starting to flow through the dealers.

Looks like they are going up in value, here is another one for $699. Local gun shop told me their supplier has an order in for 86 of them.
