So I recently bought the Rossi 92 Triple Black in .357 Magnum. The rifle comes with a pic rail, however, the pic rail ends too far away to use a scope... there isn't any where near enough room for eye relief.
Just wondering if anyone out there has come up with a solution that allows you to use a scope with the rifle. I have. a red dot that has ample eye relief, but I don't see how a scope could possibly be used.
Is nanyone using a scope with the Rossi 92 Triple Black?

Every time I think I know what I’m doing, the more I realize I have no idea what I’m doing!

I don't believe in putting scopes on lever rifles and I ain't getting a lever that's called "triple black" so I guess I am no help. Posting so the topic stays alive.

Are you saying that the pic-rail is too far away to utilize a "Long Eye Relief" scope? Check out the eye relief of a "Scout Scope" or a low magnification "Pistol Scope". I've seen both installed way out there on the top-eject lever guns. Like GG, it's not my cup of tea, but some actually do prefer it. I'm a believer that "just about" anything that can improve a shooter's accuracy can't be all bad.

I have a NOE rail on my R92 44 mag, with a Weaver Scout scope (LER). Works great.
