Post by Yogi »

Hello everyone, Just bought a new 92 in .38/.357, 20" barrel and love it. Only put 50 rounds downrange but that will go way up very soon. One thing I have noticed it does not feed semi wadcutters even tho oal is fine, all dimensions are in spec. Is this common? No biggie, I can load rnfp. Anyway thanks for accepting me.

Welcome aboard! Have you given it a thorough cleaning? Have you worked the lever 1,000 times while watching Once Upon a a Time in the West? Are you working the lever like you’re angry?

Not up to 1,000 yet but edging closer, cleaned it good. It will feed .38's with semi wadcutters but not .357. I'll keep workin on it while watching my westerns like you said.

Check the cartridge carrier to make sure there’s nothing impeding its travel. You might have to grind a bit on the feed ramp, but that should be approached very cautiously.
