Rossi R92 11 plus 1
I have recently purchased a new R92 grey laminate 20in barrel that shoots .357/.38 special. I called Rossi and asked if there was any models like this and they assured me they only make a 10 plus 1 in this model. I have confirmation it's an official Rossi rifle but have not figured out how this could have happened or why. Basically making this post to figure out the worth of a gun like this, find interested buyers, and figure out how this could have happened.

Lmao.. I called Rossi customer service twice, once to confirm it was made by them, and then I talked to 2 other people. first girl called it a unicorn then transferred me to another guy. He said it was awesome and then wanted the serial number, I asked him if he was going to make me send it back or something and then the line went silent for 15 seconds then he hung up. Wondering if it's more valuable because of the mistake of it carrying and extra round. I also want to keep it because it's nice as hell and shoots way more accurately then I should be capable of.

10+1 .357 Mag = 11+1 .38 SP.
OR when the mag spring is maybe a half dozen coils shorter (a lot of guys on this site trim their mag spring down by 4+") you get an extra half to 3/4 round in the mag.
OR more likely "Rossi can't count!"
OR 10+1 METRIC rounds = 11+1 STANDARD rounds...
BTW, what's this doing in 'single shots'?

11+1 with .357 though and the bullets aren't that different in size. Also it was hard as %@*&$ to load 10 in there the first time I shot it. Didn't notice it could hold the extra round until yesterday. You might be right with it just having a shorter mag spring. I'm not familiar with lever actions really so it's all foreign to me... lol metric round maybe.. also new to the whole forum thing and just set this up from my phone. Have no idea how to change it to the right category/forum

Maybe a spring intended for the 16" model got mixed in the bin of springs for the 20" models

I believe that they all use the same spring. If new maybe they had a short cut spring at assembly. If bought used like said, lots of people take a couple inches of the spring on shorter rifles to make cycling and loading easier. I sure did.
