Glad to see this board. A friend of mine has a Rossi 357 and I’ve decided to get a Rossi 45 colt. Any advice is welcome.
All the best

Re: Hello from Utah
Welcome!
I've only been to Utah once... Landed in Salt Lake, drove to Logan via East Canyon and Morgan. What breath-taking country there in the Cache Valley.
Advice on the R92 once you get one... shoot it like you stole it! Try not to succumb to mod-fever. About the only thing you'll need to do is get a reduced power ejector spring if you like.

Run the lever quickly, all the way down and all the way back up. Don't baby it or try to work the lever slow.
Break it in running the action without ammo but do NOT dry fire it, let the hammer down easy, for a few hundred cycles and then clean it put new lube on it and repeat a time or two.

Re: Hello from Utah
Welcome to the forum...Good score on the Rossi. The larger base cartridges feed and function better than the smaller 357. Archer and Reese-Mo offered some very good advice. Follow their lead and you'll be well served.
Question, do you reload?

Re: Hello from Utah
Yes that is a very nice area. There are a lot of beautiful areas here.
Thanks for the tips. I haven’t got yet but when I can find one I will.
I have reloaded some but not much or for awhile. Need to
