New Taylors & Co Huntsman 1892
T&C are cominf out with their new Huntsman 1892 chambered in 357 44 and 45 which comes from the factory with fiber optic front and Skinner rear sights. MSRP is $1200+ What?? The market for this seems strange, someone willing to drop that much on a 92 style lever in a pistol cartridge with modern (read not period correct and CAS/SASS disqualified) sights.
Rossi's we do that to no big deal, but if im spending a months rent (in Miami anyway) on a lever action i want it to be a real 92 (yes i know not original cartridge but you get it) from Winchester or a Japanese Miroku. Anyway link follows

Cold day in well you know. If I had that kind of money there's a new Winchester/Browning/Mirroku in 38/55 up the road a piece that would be in my safe for sure.
Make smoke,
Make smoke,
Curt... makin' smoke and raising my carbon foot print one cartridge at a time

I wonder who is actually making the rifle? Isn't Taylor's just an importer?

They don't mention twist rates.
I don't think Browning or Miroku (Winchester) make a 16 inch. As GRV01 says, I wonder what their market is, without SASS legal sights. But I guess if you have $1200 for the rifle, you can probably afford to strip the sights.

Taylor's is generally an importer I would bet this is a Uberti mad 92. I am unable to confirm it. So who knows.

Re: New Taylors & Co Huntsman 1892
I just spent 825.00 on a new win 94, made in 1956, unfired.
So that $1200 seems a bit high.

Uberti would be my first guess but they do use Chiappa as well. They usually are very high end and are beautifully made. I have a .357 single action that is an absolute jewel and it shoots very well.
