I had considered some of the lower cost options but I've been eyeing this one for a few years and finally decided to go ahead and get it. The extra control with the slide shoes for most of my pistols seemed worth it.
So far the two or three of my local friends that are interested only have one pistol type I don't and that's not one they are considering night sights on.

If I ever start doing weekends at a shop again it might come in handy for that as well.
