357 cast bullets for deer¿¿

Post by Johnnyjr »

Curious as to what bullets you people use out of your 92 for deer hunting? I have 125 turncated and 158 gr lrn. And also about what mv you run. As some of you already know, some bullets will not feed thru the action. Thanks. To

I load a Penn Bullet 180 grain they feed and they're stable at least to 100 yards.

I cast, gas check, and powder coat a NOE bullet that ends up around 187 grains once complete I would use for hunting if I hunted and used a .357.

That is exactly the bullet nose profile I prefer in both my .44 mag and .357 mag R92's. GG was generous enough to send me a "care package" of them to try in my R92 .357 mag, although it was in the old days before he started the PC thing. My R92 just couldn't handle the length of them in .357 mag brass, but they performed really well in .38 spl brass and a good dose of A2400.

That is some quality casting.
