Extractor replacement

Post by 8uck5nort »

I can pick a 20 guage barrel that has a broken extractor.

I have experience with the H&R single shot extractors, but not the Rossi.

Is it a fairly straight forward process to replace?

Could the extractor be easily fabricated with hand tools if the parts are not available?

Appreciate the help.
Trying to improve myself one shot at a time!

I've been away from them for too long. I looked through my pictures, but that was no help as I never had to pull the extractor.

Depends on the model...
If you could take a photo of the culprit or list the Model # that would help an answer alot.
But generally if that one has all the parts it could get brazed. The big issue is making the curved area where it passes below the chamber.
Way down south in Arequipa, Peru till June 2020.
