Very nice Lostcoast and Fritzy! I've working on my Puma right now, it has one of those "dark as tar" stocks and I lightening it up before I apply the Tru-Oil.

Fritzy very beautiful. What all have you done? Looks like a new front sight. Any details on the stock refinish?

Fritzy: Those are 2 nice pieces of matched wood and you've done wonders with the finish.
The bluing simply "glows" reminiscent of the old Belgium Browning bluing.
Congrats on a beautifully cared for rifle.

Here's my Navy Arms 1892 in 357 Mag (made by Rossi) styling up against a fence post. I keep saying that one of these days, I'm going to put a better finish on the walnut. But it's my working on the farm gun, so I'm not sure I want to pretty it up too much.

I love the looks of those long octagonal barreled 92s but my creaky old shoulders prefer the Trapper models for bush work.
Mighty nice looking firearm though.
Make a nice around the farm or cabin gun.
Probably "shoot the eye out of a sparrow" accurate.

Thanks!

I've made shots with it that I would have had trouble believing if someone had been talking about it. A tube full of 357s into a 5 gallon bucket at over 400 stepped off yards come to mind.

Here's my M92. It's a .45 LC with a 24" barrel.
