I picked this one up a while back, just got in the parts to swap the grip frame out.

I have a 5 and 1/2 inch Super Blackhawk as a companion piece for my M92 44 Magnum Short Rifle.

I have a few. A .41 magnum, a 44 magnum, and my favorite, a 45 colt. I put rosewood handles on all of them.

Re: Who else has Blackhawks?
Thanks, I'm working on a set of elk grips for it, but I'm not too hopeful they'll be worth putting on it. That's ok though, it's my first attempt at elk and I've already learned quite a bit to put to work on the next pair I try.

Re: Who else has Blackhawks?
I've had a few, but just have one Blackhawk now- a .44 Spl. I grew up reading Skeeter Skelton, so as soon as I heard they were making them, I ran out and found one. I don't know how many times I read his article on converting N-frames and early Blackhawks to .44 Spl.
I wanted the 4-5/8" barrel, but the 5-1/2" was what I found. Not knowing if Ruger would make them for two months or two decades, I thought I'd better get it. I'm glad I did. I am not a big SA guy, but I really love shooting this gun.
With the Bearcat:

Nice, set of Rugers there. I also picked up a Bearcat, a New model though. Have you heard of the Alan Harton conversions? He's converting New Bearcats to .32 H&R mags and .327 Magnum.

Yes, the .32 Bearcat conversions are kinda neat.

Re: Who else has Blackhawks?
I sure like mine. It's is a 6.5" barrel 41mag with flame maple grips I stained myself. Sure are a lot of 41 fans here for such an "unpopular" cartridge! I think the Blackhawk and 41 magnum were made for each other. Smooth power.... not too hot, not too cold, juuuuuust right.
