Barrel blank for older 92?

I'm trying to find a blank to fill in the rear slot on an older 92, I contacted "Steve's Gunz" but he doesn't have one for the older Rossi's.
Does anyone know where I can get one? It's the older .400 width.
Steve suggested that I could cut off the old rear sight and fashion a blank from that, but I want to hold on to that as a last resort.
I have a new Marble's blank, but it just slides on through.....
Thanks in advance.

I'd make one from scratch before I'd cut off the sight.

Any machine shop should be able to make one although it might cost.
If you are patient and willing to spend the time you can probably make one yourself with a file.
Stock ones may have to be fitted in that manner anyway.

“Ace” may be the place ...

Could pickup short length of either aluminum or soft steel flat bar stock of appropriate width. Saw off a piece that is a little bigger than .400. File the ends to approximate dovetail angle till it can be driven in with nylon drift punch. Either use aluminum black or cold blue to darken. If aluminum bar, use fine sandpaper to lightly scuff the glossy extruded finish so it will take the aluminum black. Aluminum is easier to work with - could consider that a prototype effort.

I'm thinking about possibly fabricating one myself. It will be interesting to see how many linear feet of metal stock I go through before I actually turn out a usable one LOL. I'll let you know if the effort will be successful or not.
I love to create with my hands anyway.

I did order a blank with a set screw in it, looks to be what the doctor ordered! Thanks everyone.
