Good evening all,

I'm considering a Rossi 92 and have noticed some are denoted as R92 and others as M92. I'd appreciate any details that differentiates the two models? Thank you in advance!

As far as I know, there is no difference. I think "M" is just an abbreviation for "model". However, I'm completely open to being corrected.

What Nashville said. The R is used by many to note that the Rifle and not a Browing or Winchester.

Thank you for clarifying. I will have a new R92/M92 on the way this week!
