Re: Spree...
Finally got to the range with another of my .308 ARs (7.62 NATO not BO). 18" fluted built on a Aero Precision M5 receiver set. Gun functioned fine but I didn't have a spotter with me and I'll need to go back and sight it in another day.

Re: Spree...
There is a definite need for more pictures !
Speaking of which, I think I was s'posed to take a snap or two of my dedicated .22LR Maybe after yardwork.

Re: Spree...
I agree, I need to take some more and better pics.
Took the camera to the range with me last couple times and didn't get around to it in spite of it being a great opportunity,

Re: Spree...
Looks like a few parts are starting to be more available for a couple projects I've got in mind.

Re: Spree...
Sadly, the only .308 AR platform I ever handled was a Dutch made non-selective fire model, with the swirly brown furniture. Nice rifle, but we didn't fire it at the range due to its collectors value.

Re: Spree...
Talking to one of my college buds today and he was going through his storage zone looking for his build parts and he came up short of receiver extension/buffer tubes and handguards for the couple builds he's had on the back burner for the last couple years. He's pretty certain he's got another box o parts, so his plan is to make at least an attempt at finding it before he buys additional parts. Seems like he's planning a 300 Blackout build and a .224 Valkyrie build. Neither of those calibers are exactly something I'm a huge fan of but assuming he can get ammo for them I expect they'd be fun.

Planning on helping a friend put together a 6.5 Grendel but not sure exactly when he's going to be up to finish it.

Re: Spree...
Waiting on a set of scope rings to finish one build to a usable state. That is to say I haven't started the build yet other than gathering the parts and I need a set of rings (and maybe some back up sights.)
Waiting on a handguard for another build. MIGHT wind up needing a scope & mount for that one as well.
