Hello. New member here and first post. I just picked up a blued 16" R92 357 today. The dealer told me the distributor received 60 various models on Monday and sold out in 1 1/2 days. I have been on backorder for a couple months. Has 2017 stamped under the serial number. Must be new production. Fit and finish are outstanding. Will post pics after the new register wears off.

Any idea when the 2018 models should be reaching dealers?

I don't think anyone has seen a 2018 in the wild yet. So far, everything coming in to the US seems to be late 2017 production, and those are getting snapped up within a day or two of when they appear. From what I could see in the 2018 catalog, the models don't seem to have changed from 2017 (other than reducing the number of variants).

I see, Thanks. Has Rossi/Braztech said when production should be picking up? It's my understanding they moved to a different factory and that's why production is down(I may be wrong in that, I think I read it somewhere).

Imports have been non-existent for quite some time, but just recently picked back up a month or two ago. I've heard the same story about them moving manufacturing locations, but who knows how true that is. Rossi's communication has been laughably inaccurate in the past; I think most people have adopted an "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality.

It's unfortunate when a company can't communicate well like that. Sounds like I'll have to keep a very watchful eye out and act fast for what I want.
