Does anyone know if Rossi ever made deluxe 92s? Or is this just one someone refinished?

Same here. Someone sure didn't take care of the finish on the barrel.

Stocks look nice, but have probably been refinished.

Pipe dream invention. Maybe a bad pic of the barrel? If you like it, get it anyway. I just bought a %@*&$ Marlin 75C sight unseen for two digits shipped so we're all kinda addicted to ugly.

Interesting, and pretty. Wonder if that stock's a replacement? Interesting curve on the comb.

I'm not sure I would call 1 of 2000 of any firearm a special edition. I wonder how many 92s were imported into the US last year. It wouldn't surprise me if it were less than that.

I looked at the ATF statistics, and 78,585 rifles were imported from Brazil in 2015. The report does not break it down any further. The report used to break it down to cartridges the rifles were chambered in which would make would help define how many 92, but they don't go that far now.

It's the only stainless original style R92 I've seen but that makes it worth less to me not more. The fact it's an old style is not desirable to some but I prefer the older ones. Probably a wash value-wise. I'm not paying Six Hundred and Anything for a Rossi of any kind unless it's in 480 Ruger.
