What I see when the picture is zoomed is a small calf on its side being attacked by a coyote.
At first I thought it might be a hog being attacked by a coyote.
But my best guess is that it was a calf.

That's interesting. Did you look at any of the calves in the pasture?

There was no blood or other signs of struggle on the ground.
There were no related photos on the trail cam either before or after the picture that was posted.
