New member from Riverside, CA checking in.
Been around guns my whole life, but didn't get serious and become an enthusiast until I was thirty. I'm in my early fifties now and have developed a liking for lever guns.
My search for information on a recent purchase of a used Chiappa model 1892 44 mag brought me to this site.
I currently own three levers; a Browning BL22 bought in '03, a Rossi R92 in .38/.357 bought in '13, and a Chiappa big lever 16" 44 mag model 1892 that I picked up today.
Being in California and having picked up the Chiappa at 5pm on a Friday, the Chiappa HQ was closed, so I couldn't call to request info on my new toy until Monday.
Oh well, time to take to the iterwebs to hunt and peck for info on my own. 
Looking forward to conversing with other members here, learning, and hopefully contributing with whatever information I can provide to help others here as well.
