Hello, I'm Matt and I've been a Rossi 92 owner for about a year now. I picked up a NOS blued 20" 44 mag Puma in a local gun store last year to go along with some other 44 revolvers I own. It wound up being my favorite gun by far. Anything I couldn't hit with a handgun could easily be handled with the Rossi. I did take it apart and put a lighter ejector spring and hammer spring from stevesgunz. The ejector spring was too stiff and the extractor couldn't hang on very well with the brass jammed hard against the chamber wall. It smoothed the gun up nicely and it's functioned flawlessly since then. First I tried a new extractor from M&M but that didn't do the trick.
Long before I settled on the 44 puma I was on the hunt for a 357 mag but I never could find one. My LGS said they can't even order one because they're simply not out there. Well today I finally found it after chasing an ad on Armslist. Drove 45 minutes to a new gun shop that had a brand new blued 20" 357 mag. Looked it over and found it was much more refined than my LSI puma. No negotiations necessary, I gladly paid what it cost.
So I decided to sign up with two 92s under my belt. I hope the 357 shoots as well as my 44.
