Heavy 45/70 Loads

So I've just ordered a new Rossi Rio Grande in 45/70 from my local gunship here in South Australia. One play with it and I was hooked ! Smooth as silk lever cycling, decent trigger pull, and it fits me like a glove !
Now half the reason I decided to buy it was because I want a backup gun for a muzzleloader/longbow water buffalo hunt I'm going on. So I'm planning on reloading with very heavy projectiles. I have on offer a Cast Bullet Engineering 570gn .458 bullet mold I'd like to try,and I'm just curious if anyone here has tried loading such a heavy bullet in their Rio Grande at all ? And is there any problems with them that I should look out for ?
Cheers,Pete
