I need to get organized, but half the time I can order a new part and have it before I find my stash that withheld the part I needed. LoL

Same with me.
I got tired of digging through my closet full of containers, spending hours and still not find the part.
I had to get organized to keep from losing my mind.
But once i ordered and installed the part, the one i already had turns up.
sometimes i wish it wouldnt turn up.

Back to the Marlin....

Why do some of the same era 336's have a really short magazine tube?
Does anyone know for sure if my 20" 1951 .30-30 should have a shroud over the front sight?

The features just depend on the model. The original "A" models became "SC" sporting carbines, with 3/4-length tubes. The full-length tube came available with the "RC" regular carbines. I will provide more info later today as I need to take care of some things this morning.
