Nothing like fresh meat from the natural meat locker ! The big plus is the ability to take care of food needs outside of the "controlled system".
And there is not much better time than being in the "bushes" and watching it all function so well.

Kill'n yard deer don't count as hunting though they might still be tasty.

Right. Just saying I can see them nearly every day. Boss has a game camera set up and puts out corn. The biggest buck looks pretty good.

You should see the deer at my mom's family generational farm in Grayson County. Her cousin has put feeders in the back yard to keep the deer from grazing in the front yard afraid of road shots at the house. The deer weren't baited or fed until he tried to draw them out back.
