Rossi/Taurus Owner

Hello to all.
I am a proud owner of 2 Rossi Circuit Judges Tacticals.
I also have a Rossi .38 Special in SS and have a Taurus PT738 TCP as my every day carry so you can say I am a fan of Rossi and Taurus.
I am a newb but I have taken courses and have been doing a LOT of online research about firearms.
I chose the CJs after having tried a Mossberg .410 pump. I found that the pump could jam and decided that a cylinder weapon would be far more dependable in a critical situation.
I bought 2 CJs to keep one in the front of the house and one in the back. My neighborhood isn't the best so home security is a major interest.
I am taking one of my CJs to the range to fire for the first time. I have configured it to fire .45 Colt and I would like to see if I can sight it in using the standard sights. I'll let you know how I did.
I do not hunt so I usually maintain it as a defensive weapon, using Remington .410 Home Defense rounds.
