Fun Day At The Range

Ahh, Fall in the air with morning temps in the hi 50's. long sleeve tee felt good.

Waiting for the RO to open up at 9 am, I'm the only one there, wow.

Okay, all set up at the 25 yard marker to re-zero the scope when the next guy
shows up. Using the two / three shot technique zeroing is good to go, eighth
shot is touching the X ring.

Now others are beginning to show up and I move a new target to the 50 yard
marker.

HEY, I can live with that ! By this time lines are beginning to form with shooters waiting
for a station. I decide to quit while I'm ahead and let someone else have the spot. I'll be
back next week and go for 75 yards, better plan on arriving early.

Feels good to hit the target again ... Jim

Good deal. I spent most of the day, other than a nap, on my range working on my Marlin 375. Decided to hunt with it year as it has been a long while since I have.

I kind of pay attention to the weather near Islip, NY (Long Island) because my daughter lives there. Yesterday, I noticed that we were a degree cooler at 56ยบ than they were. The humidity was 36% and the shooting only so so but it still was a great day like you had. Gon'na repeat things today and try to call this rifle ready for something.

I love the fall weather, and love hearing things going good for fellow rossi shooters. +guns
