Kentucky Dave sez hello!

Hi Folks! Louisville transplant to the West Coast, who has been shooting various noisemakers since my teens & I just filled out Medicare paperwork this year... Lotta lead downrange over the years.

I've been wanting a 92 without a safety and in .44 and I found one. Any idea of the vintage would be appreciated.

Rossi, Interarms, no marks on tang, top or bottom. No model number anywhere. Serial is M0038XX.

Just picked it up today and looking forward to range time in a couple of weeks with it & my new Kimber .45.

Big brother to my oldie. Pull off the furniture and look for Julian type dates. Mine is stamped on all major parts with 1987 dates. I bet yours is older. Look under the butt plate too.

That stock has some nice character. Very pretty. From the outside, it doesn't look like it has a lot of mileage. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks all, for the welcomes!

This 92 is VERY clean. It looks like a safe queen.

Anyone else have an idea of how old it might be?

Thanks again!!

Different style date and its older than mine so I'll climb the limb and say 1980.

Thanks! I'm really happy about finding it. I hope I'll feel that way after I get it out to the range.
