My birthday is coming up and I have been putting in a lot of hours on my parents farm throughout the summer so they surprised me with a pistol I have been eyeing for about a year, a Sig Sauer P226 Elite. I was blown away with their generosity but equally as blown away by the gun. So damn fun to shoot. It has a 15 round double stack mag and it takes nothing to roll through a full mag.

I will post pictures when I get a chance but before that, I am going to shoot it for a while longer.

The DA/SA with decocker design has become my favorite carry type, after trying everything else first.
No safety, long and heavy first pull, with short and light follow-up shots. Safe, efficient, and effective.

Thanks everybody! Yeah, I was over the moon when I saw it. The gun is perfection. I have shot about 300 rounds through it in less than a week. Getting a good feel for it.
