In my my mountain bikeing days moving faster than the bugs kept me motivated and bite free from this motivation. :lol:

Yeah but there's a rock garden on the other side of a stream during my annual death march that's a real pain to get through without porting the bikes at the walk to avoid sprained ankles.

Yea in my younger and more fit days I did boulder hopping and rugged rock trails and downhill. When I had to pack my downhill bike that monster made me sweat more and get ate up more. I know what you mean on rugged trails for sure. :oops:

I've had luck with them when I'm sitting outside enjoying the fresh air. If there is a breeze it significantly cuts its effectiveness though.
