I am getting a Ranch Hand in .38/.357 as my Christmas gift for myself. I need a few ways to dress it up and make it MINES.
One of the things I would like to do is be able to lay my Ranch Hand down with others and be able to know its mines. So Please give a few things or ways to make mines a Tad unique.
Thanks guys...

Rit fabric dye of a unique color choice you would need to remove all the wood and strip it sand it smooth in degrees of grit. Then start dying it as dark as possible with the color of choice here is the trick let it sit and dry or cure. long before you seal it with a lacquer or varnish. You could have one different than all the others just by the purdy wood on it.

I'm pretty much in love with Skinner's sights and in particular his peep sight offerings. Or you could order one of the NOE scope mounts and have a red dot or pistol scope mounted on yours. Then there's all the leather you could dress it up with. You are more limited by imagination than by options.
And money. I'm always limited by money.

The quickest fixes are some leather parts. I also would like to do something with the wood on it.

* Leather
* Wrap the loop
* Different Sights
* Picatinny rail with laser, flashlight, etc...
* Re-finish the wood
* Dress up or replace the butt plate with something creative. This should be easy as it is just flat steel.
* Add a sling (single point or two point)
* Engrave the receiver
* Add a suppressor (Federal tax and gunsmithing required in the states)
* Add a full length rear stock (Federal SBR tax required in the states)
* Make a collapsible/adjustable rear stock (Federal SBR tax required in the states)
* Assemble a "bug out" bag to pack it around in.
Who says that the AR guys get to have all the toys?

Mind you, I think this is really ugly, but it won't get confused with another one on the table.

I don't care for the hash marks, but I like how he re-shaped the stock.

Just be careful because that one needs a form 1 stamp from ATF as it is now a sbr.
