Rossi Rifleman

Did some casting yesterday and found evidence that the plate on my 45 Colt SWC mold may be warpped, flash on the base of one of the bullets. Lee doesn't show any mold repair kits in their catalog. I may try to flatten it on my surface plate or see if the plate from one of the lesser used molds will fit.

Any other ideas?

As thin as they are they will warp. A good flat piece of steel or non-wavy glass will reveal it when held up to light. That same flat surface with 200 then 400 wet paper will do the job.
