looking at the site all they offer now is the 45/410 and 22/22mag, am I missing something?

The best way to figure it out is in the downloadable catalog. For 2015, the 44 Mag was dropped leaving the:

• 45/410 in both blue (SCJ4510) or stainless (SCJ4510SS)
• 45/410 Tuffy (SCJT4510)
• 22LR/22M (SCJ22LR22M)

I know this sounds wierd, but if I had a hankerin for ,,small bore, accurate type dilly wacker, I would jump into one of the 92 in 357, load up some 110 grain JHP thing, as frankly, from what I here 22 ammo pretty well gone down the toilet, every 7 th one goes Click,,,and one can load that 357 pretty cheap, twice the price, long as ya don't mind pickin up all the brass.

So tell me, if you were looking for a 22 rifle, would you think on a CJ or,,,,,something else?

So far all the recently acquired 22 stuff has gone bang when the hammer dropped.

.22 LR = Henry Octagonal in either finish as first choice. Be aware the black can scratch but I figure if I get it dinged enough cerakote ain't too expensive.

Second choice is some variation on the 10/22 including assembly of a clone from parts.

Third choice might be a Marlin 39A but I haven't seen one for sale in literally years.

I'd take a CZ bolt gun in a heartbeat.

Then maybe a Marlin 60.

After that maybe a AR .22 of some sort and after that everything else is pretty much either ancient history or very expensive or bottom fodder IMO. A good MKII Ruger bull or slab side barrel will probably shoot with many of the carbines as will a Smith 41 but you'll pay out the ying yang for the Smith. High Standard is producing again and some of the older guns come up from time to time but they are a little pricey and finicky. Smith 17s or 617s can also be had and are also very accurate. Before I'd go with the Rossi carbine in .22LR I'd think about the Tracker in .22 or the Smith. I hear the Smith is more durable from my buds doing training of youths and gals but the cost is probably x3 as well.
