Has anyone verified expansion of the Prvi Partizan 7.62x39mm Pointed Soft Point (not the round nose)?

I've used the Tula PSP 154-grain ammo and it makes a huge hole, just like the PPU round nose.

Thanks Michael.

The Silver Bear and Herters 123 grain pointed soft points that I've tested didn't expand at all.
But that Tula PSP 154 grain bullet sure looks impressive.

Ammoseek showed very little of the Prvi Partizan round nose soft point in stock.
So I ordered some of their PSP pointed soft points to try.

That youtube video shows a meltdown of the Tula 154 gr projectile at minute 2:00.
Just the melted lead from the bullet was 122 grains,

Impressive.

Here are a couple of photos showing expansion relative to distance and bullet type.

Thanks, yes.

The bullets were fired through plastic 5 gallon buckets lined in a row and filled with water.

Thanks.

Planning on testing the Prvi Partizan pointed soft point next.

My guess, looking at your results, is that if the bullet sticks to a magnet, it is not hunt worth. I've use the Tula 154-grain PSP on a couple of critters successfully but I do question the expansion limits of a steel core. Now that I have a cast bullet, I limit the Tula to my range shooting.
