I cut mine sort of like wquiles did and the sticks slide down in my Lube-a-Matic II fairly easy and I have lubed & sized several thousand bullets with it so far.

Steve..........
That is a good idea. Also a person could take a lube stick tube, cap one end place a small diameter dowel in the center of it and pour in the melted mix wait till it stiffens up good and pull the dowel out cap the top and store as you choose.

Over at cast boolits I've seen where guys just pour the hot lube into the lubrisizers or there are a couple of articles on making a mold to form sticks for the Lyman and RCBS machines. A bit of wood some dowels some pvc pieces and mold lube.

Make smoke,

I've saved all the tubes that some of my lube sticks have come in and I plan to give them a try and use a pencil.
