Re: Looking for single shot 44mag
Well, I waited for it for someone to take it, which there was no bidding, so I bought it.
I know they have been discontinued and haven't seen any list for awhile. Thanks for the link klr, I have a search activated but it is looking for "rossi single shot 44 mag". This was labeled different so it wasn't being pulled up.
Have been more interested in the CVA Hunter in this cartridge but nothing on it for months as well. The good think about the Rossi is that I have a complete rifle in parts less the barrel and receiver plus the slave pins I built for the tear down and assembly of my 7.62x39. Kind of regret selling that rifle but two misfires in one evening hunt on two different hogs was just too much to handle at once.

Here is a CVA Scout chambered in 44 Mag. The Scout is one level up from the Hunter and this is a very good price for one in light of the fact that shipping is included.

BTW, this is built on the full size rifle frame, correct?

Yes, the Rossi is a full size rifle. Rossi never offered a 44 Mag youth model that I recall.

That's what I thought from looking at the pictures. I'm keeping an eye out for a 357 on the narrow frame.
