Brush and sectional rods, diesel fuel, and a 30W swab.

Remarkable job of taking the picture. Is it too shiny now to allow you a chance to get an after cleaning shot ?

Not perfect, but we do not have a metal brush...

I've used naval jelly on chamber and rifling that's looked like this. If it's not stainless you have to watch to not get it on any blueing it will remove it. I tape it off anywhere I can to prevent this. It will eat rust and then scrub clean oil she will look new. Great work.

I'm going to sugest Naval Jelly to the boss.

I'm a little surprised no one has had any suspicions about what this gun actually is.....

It looks like a an artillery gun 105 mm? As the rifling an such plus the ability to open the breech in the way the pics look.
