I have been a watcher of your fourum for several yr's, thanks guys for all the help. My story starts shortly be fore Hurricane Katrina in (05?) when I bought a NIB Rossi 92, .357/38S . While preparing for the big hit I was storing away gear in the attic including my NIB 92. I dropped it while standing on the third step of a ladder, what can I say; it was me and the ladder or the Rossi. I opened the box and the butt stock was busted at the grip. Truth be told the break was at an almost 45 degree angle. The wood was bound to go sooner or later.
Moving forward about seven years I've retired and find some time on my hands so I revive my interest in the Rossi . Turing to the web and finding this forum was my salvation, I learned where to go for the best guides, and parts. (S.Gunz and Precision Stocks) Both found here. Now after a start/stop process that has lasted _ three years I got me a very good gun and had fun at the same time. Sooo THANKS GUYS.

Welcome benoki, I do believe you get the award for the longest work up of a R92. I'm sure your patience and persistence will be rewarded with a great little rifle and fun to boot.

Well RD beat me to asking ... photos ?

ha ha, "start / stop process", boy can I relate.

After my minor modifications ( successful I might add ) I just want to
enjoy shooting for awhile and not be in a hurry to refinish the furniture.

Welcome to the site, lot of very knowledgeable and helpful folks here.
