Grab a seat here!
I live in a small Pennsylvania town that is located in the Anthracite Coal Fields. That industry is slowly dying, no thanks to our president, but this park bench makes me feel really proud every time I walk past it. We have the spirit which can be seen in the message on this bench.
About two years ago, as I was told, some group volunteered to repaint all the benches but I don't know it the messages were left up to the artists. Great message though,

Re: Grab a seat here!
Hi RD,
Nope, that is my old dog Bailey. He's pushing 12 and tires very easily, especially on these hot, humid mornings. We overlook each others faults so we get along really well.
Plus he has arthritis so I have reluctantly retired him from hunting which he truly loves. Whenever we hunted he knew what was happening when I grabbed my small game coat. He would sit on the armrest next to me and his body would quiver with excitement. For some reason we haven't been seeing any rabbits this summer so he can't even get a nose full of that familiar odor.

Great picture. Pat Toomey needs to see this.
We are told NOT TO judge Islam by the actions of a few lunatics. However we are encouraged TO judge ALL Gun Owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.

We are up to our knees with the rabbits but the heat would probably kill him. We are pushing 100° the last couple of days.Steelbanger wrote:Nope, that is my old dog Bailey. Re: Grab a seat here!
Bailey has not been very friendly with me since his posterior was shown on the original post so here he was in all his prime at about 3 years of age.
