92 Forearm Conversion Question
Is it possible to remove the forearm barrel band from a Rossi 92 and replace it with one of the medal forearm caps? If so where would you get the parts? Thanks

Re: 92 Forearm Conversion Question
I think I've seen evidence of one such conversion a while back on an internet thread.
The owner however either MADE his own fore end cap OR he repurposed one from another type of firearm.
On the Rossi the guns with the fore end cap have a loop dovetailed into the barrel that supports the mag tube between the muzzle barrel band and the forearm. I don't recall what the fellow did in the modification thread I was reading in lieu of that dovetail loop.
