I like the looks of that m85.
I've got one of the zatava .22LRs that Remington restocked and marketed as the Model FIVE.
It is nice and clean and I'm real happy with it.

AK, meant to get back with you on this. Here is an image of the bolt handle clearance with the Bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5X32. The exterior diameter of this scopes eye bell is 1.690". It looks and is close but a perfect contour. In fact, I was worried about it being too close with my large hands but I had absolutely no issues with operation or clearance.

Still haven't seen my Savage 10 FCM Scout. Savage called 10 days ago and said they had shipped it back to me untouched but it hasn't showed up. Guess I will have to make yet another call Monday. It has been 90 days since it left. Really bummed out about Savage, their product (this particular rifle series), and their service.

RD - Looks like you're like me: my favorite type of gun is all of them... ;)

So which do you prefer, normal or scout scope? I've never tried a scout scope.

No doubt about it, the scout scope. That is why my R92s have become my favorite levergun, no disrespect to my 444T, it will remain top dog but I'm sure thinking about adding the XS Sight system to it along with the Weaver Scout. That is one of the next projects on my list, figuring out if the 444T will work with one of the XS models offered.

I've shot two types of steel cased ammo; Tulammo 154-grain PSP and Wolf 122-grain PHP. The Tulammo seems to be the real deal. I have a full work up of an assortment of ammo that will probably take place tomorrow or Thursday. I finished my work on the Savage and it likes the Tulammo 154-grain PSP best.

Glad to read about someone who likes the little Russian round as much as I do. I have an AR 15, an AMD 65, and an SKS chambered for it. I just finished building the AR, so I can't wait to get it to the range. The folding stock AMD 65 rings the 8" gong at 200 yds consistently, opened sighted. I love this little round! (getting real chummy with my newly acquired 45-70 Rio, thou :D )
