Re: Looking for Laminate stock for 92
Not that I've seen yet beens we are just now starting to see stock options in amrican walnuts that took a long time to get into the market so maybe if the rossi 92 stays strong in the market as it has been growing in the past 6years sales are fast and retailers have backorders on 92's all the time. Shops sell them fast because of their price. The more that get sold the more aftermarket support. The big issue will be every rossi is different and any stock made for these will need final fitting not like a milspec ar or even an ak, not yet anyways if you find somthing please post it so that we all can gain in your findings.Coroner wrote:Is anyone aware of a supplier for laminated stocks for Rossi 92?

Here ya go.... Under the custom option you will see all the options available. I would contact them to get better information. But it shows they are custom making laminate stocks for the 92 and 94.

Re: Looking for Laminate stock for 92
Boyds makes good stuff.
I could really go for a black pepper stock and forearm for my stainless .44 Nutmeg OR Black Pepper would look good on the .357 and I REALLY prefer the flat butt plate but at $126 for the set I can wait.
NOTE: the forend appears to be for the .44/45 carbine only. The .357 has a smaller dia magazine tube. There has been another post about this previously.

They are showing the mag tube as 3/4 inch wide. What is it on a 357? Did a search for any photo of someone who has done this and can't find one photo. Have to wonder is anyone is even aware Boyds offer a laminate stock for the 92 and 94?

Would be great for someone who wants to do this to contact them and report what they are told. I see Mossberg and Marlin are offering more levers with the laminate option. I think it looks good myself.akuser47 wrote:I didnt know they had custom options for 92 thats awesome I wonder about the cost.

If I had my heart set on a lam stock I would glass in both ends and redrill for .55 or just a pinch over.

I really like the fit and finish of the Single Shot synthetic stocks. Rossi seems to have that down. I know I would add some stainless R92s if they added the synthetic stocks to them.
