thanks RD; my 16 in carbine should arrive in a day or two. I might be able to adapt a weaver to fit.

Weaver nor anyone else has made a base for the R92. I'd buy you one one but by the time I had it shipped to me to ship to you, there would not be much or any savings.

I checked on the cheek piece today, they are $14.80 each. Mine are still on back order since November .

Unfortunately, it will take a lot of work Louis as the hole pattern is unique to the R92 and the base fits the taper of the barrel so that it remains parallel with the axis of the barrel. +1 +1
