Rear sight Rossi 92

Can anyone recommend the aperture rear sight on the bolt of Rossi 92 with elevation mechanism for distance correction?

There are two that I know of. One is offered through Steve's Guns and it replaces the safety in the bolt. The other I know of is the Skinner which is a barrel mounted peep sight that uses the aft dovetail. I've used both and prefer the Skinner. Neither of these are aperture rear sights, I know of none made for the Rossi.

I've installed the skinner sight as well and have been very pleased with it.

You may be better served going with a tang sight if that is what you are looking for.

In my opinion, the tang sight is too complicated for revolver cartridge with shooting distance max. 150 meters. And again, there is no distance correction, like for 50; 100; 150; 200 meters. But the bullet drop must be about 30 cm for 150 m.

I think he means like this. But It probably will not fit the rossi dovetail slot.

I've been thinking about the Williams side mount rear sight for my R92 but I would want to actually use one before buying and installing.

edit to add: I don't think Williams actually markets for the 92, but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a "how to" for installing on a 92 recently.

I mean something like http://www.aliexpress.com/item/QD-Rear- ... 95717.html or http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/si ... yle_1=Peep Sights , but more compact and ergonomic and fitting the bolt. I have the idea how it should be, but I think, I have to construct it myself.
