Joined the club today!

I've been looking for a 92 for some time now, almost got one but waited too long and it went out of stock. SO
anyway I did my gun store run today, went to five different dealers, looking for a used shotgun. At the next to last shop they had NIB Stainless 20" 92, 357mag, $570.00, (plus three Ithaca 37's that had my interest). The shop was busy so I decided to come back on Thurs.. So one more shop to visit, they usually don't have much stock very small mostly black powder stuff, so I'm spinning the rack looking at old double barrels, and what comes around but a NIB Blue 20" blue 357mag, $425.00, the rifle never made it back to the rack. I put 1/2 down and will pick up next week, thought about getting it today but I have high bid in on Gunbroker for a shotgun and might need to cover that this week.
See what happens when you least expect it! :D

$425 is a really good buy. I would have been all over that a couple weeks ago when I sold an XDs (for $475 :D ). Actually, my son is looking for the .357 stainless 16 inch "for the right price" right now.

Thanks folks, I had pretty much given up on finding one locally. Now for the fun part - getting my list of
accessories together, lets see..............

Tru Oil
Maybe some walnut stain?
SS mag plug
Spring kit - not sure which one
Steves DVD

What else - any suggestions?

Thanks Again,
Rick

That's a deal, brother. Is it the round barrel or the oct?

I really need to start looking into reloading. FWIW, I have found most of my ammo needs at SGAmmo. Most of it comes in and out of stock daily\weekly.

Way to go xbr! We are on the same path as I recently picked up my first 92 also.

Will be picking up Steve's DVD and wondering about which spring kit too. I've seen at least three kits.

Yes I was very happy with the price. It's a round barrel I will try to post some pics when I get it. I was shocked that I saw them in consecutive shops, I visit both at least once a month, and haven't come across them before, maybe a new shipment has hit the States. Chip the guy I got it from said it took 8 months for him to get his shipment. Reloading is in my future, hopefully the supply of components will continue to loosen up.
