I have nothing insulating my pipes the old foundation walls are not insulated just the floor. House was built in 1878 and there is so little room under the house I get stuck and have to wiggle free. I will be adding some pipe insulation once I have the chance.

Q: If your pipes are freezing for lack of insulation what do you buy?.......some insulation or another gun?

i bought pipe wrap insulation this past summer just fogot to get it done. I even have plenty of ol pinky leftover from my shop insulation just need to do it.

It's the opposite here and we are in the middle of a week long heat wave and more on the way.

I was in Kansas a couple of years ago, and it was 109F. I don't think I would have made it, if it had been 115

Well, It's been a week and 2 days and still NO insurance adjuster, and no ServPro clean up people. But we are "on the list" they keep saying.

Our insurance man said that just State Farm has had over 22,000 claims since the freeze. And there must be at least a dozen more insurance companies involved. So it wernt just me!

Seriously though, is the Great Southern Ice Age nearly over yet??? I hear it's supposed to get into the 20's again and I live in Florida. I stayed in Florida to get away from this kind of garbage.

I've had that box out for over a week now. I had to go shooting for a little while yesterday for some relief.

Well I hope they get to you soon nothing worse than haveing to wait till they say it's ok to fix and it will be covered. I have had claims were I made money doing the repairs myself and made sure it was done right. I do not trust most contractors around here. Some times insurance will let me fix n repair, sometimes they won't good luck and keep us posted.
