I do, I have bought a number of rifles from them. I've even used the layaway plan. The transactions have always gone great. My FFL has his paperwork on file with them, I think they are highlighted in green color, so I don't even need to call him or again for a copy. All easy as can be.apache67 wrote:I've seen posts on other forums indicating that Bud's can be "dicey" at times. I'm not sure if it's true or the poster is just someone with an axe to grind. Does anyone have any first-hand experience in dealing with them?

Re: Buds Gun Shop 92 rifles
I have bought around 6 guns from Buds since July and besides a few slow delivery times there have been no issues and the guns have all been excellent,if it wasn't for the wife having a kid next month I'd be all over the .454,i still might be the more I think about it . Luckily my FFL here only charges $13.00 and is on Buds list so once I select their name and pay its over besides picking it up when the UPS man gets there.

I've used Buds without issue. I don't believe they warehouse all the guns they have listed, but I have yet to have a problem with drop shipments either.
I think I have bought six or so rifles from them over the past five years.

Actually they do warehouse everything listed for sale. If not they have it as out of stock. Now as for warehousing they have large areas used for warehousing at both of their box stores and a separate warehouse located in Paris Kentucky. Their local store is also very well stocked with walls of guns as well as counters. It is probably the best stocked gun shops I've ever been in and that is a lot of them. They must have close to 500 employees and always looking for more.Chris wrote:I've used Buds without issue. Got my 92 from them 3.5 years ago. Everything was perfect.
