Range report #1 and Thanks to Mr. Surveyor.
I didn't have a lot of time, So I forgot my shooting rest & Chair.
I blew the first one off with 60 grns fffg, just to see if the breach plug would hold.
All the old timers kept telling me my 100 grn charge was too much, so I bowed.
I set the dilly wacker for 80 GRNS fffg GOEX.
I shot, spit swab after each shot, load with .018 pillow ticking lightly soaked with olive oil, cut my own as I shoot.
Target just over 50 yrds out.
I shot 3, you see 3 shots low and right of bullseye.
I took a punch and hammer to the front site and centered it right in the middle of the bbl.
I raised rear site 2 clicks.
I shot 3 more shots while resting on the van door, these 3 went in the red.
I shot about 10 more at things, 100 and 200 Yards, I am happy.

Credits
Colerain Barrel Co.
They make a nice barrel but dont take any care to keep it lookin nice before they ship it.
Adam Jeppson Gun Smithing in West Valley City Utah, is slow, he is very busy, but I HIGHLY recomend his work.
I kinda engineered it, and plan to change out that front site.
I am very happpy.

Great first outing. I bet after 50-100 rounds through the bore you'll be shooting clover leafs at 50 and 1 inch at 100 off a steady rest. Really impressive.

Thanks, I want to take care of it and see if I can make it last, the last one petered out after 30 years.
I kinda think I was over charging the thing.

JD, you opened a can of worms.
I remember back when my kids were little, we were camped 8000ft Utah Idaho Border.
Bout 198?,,,5,5,6, or 7
I was shooting this thing, and My wife comes out of the trailer all %@*&$ off.
"How long do we have to listen to that, you just never stop."
So I took the barrel off and pumped some hot water and stuff in a bucker, then after dinner I got about 3 shots off and I turn to look, there goes the wife, got in the car, up and left, spinning the tires and all, one figer traffic symbol, whole nine yards
She has hated this gun ever since. Shooting this gun has not been easy +of
