RG 410
Went out with the 410 today and cracked off a few Winchester #6's....actually 50 lol!!!! got her home and cleaned her up. The wood is getting darker with Hoppe's Elite Oil slow but sure. No issues to report other than it is butt cold out there!!!!!

Re: RG 410
Newbie to Rossi and have a few questions.
I have a RG410SS with issues out of the box
Cosmetic issues nicks scratches, stiff loading gate
Kinda of normal. Broke the sear after about 10 rounds of
7 1/2 shot not so normal . Shipped it to Miami
Got it back has extractor problems. This is fixable
This site pointed me to Numrich to get a Marlin 336 extractor
Thanks btw. I did the "Rossi tune up " same as I do my Marlins
Action is real good now. It is so good I had to
Re do my 36 RC (made in 1948) to get it up to snuff,
All good. I'm still working on the loading issues.
Taking my time to make sure I don't over do anything.
1) the gun was advertised as 10+1 capacity
But there is an insert to limit capacity to 6
Has anyone tried removing this to increase capacity ?
2) assuming no go on getting more mag capacity
I have read on this site the mag spring should be shortened
To make loading easier. How many coils should be removed ?
Thanks
