Two weeks ago I got a green winged teal and finally nailed a pheasant with my matched pair pistol. Took a few trys but with my German Shorthair pointers it was easy to get close. Duck season got froze out already here but really would of liked a mallard or diver too. Hard water fishing now. Hardest part was finding .410 steel shot for waterfowling. mission accomplished

Re: mission accomplished
Great job! You must be the only fellow on the forum with that pistol! What is the other barrel?

Re: mission accomplished
Its a .22 I put a red dot sight on it. Fun accurate and fairly cheap to shoot.

Re: mission accomplished
Awesome job f100. I have three Vizslas but they can't get me close enough to want to try a .410 pistol! I'll stick to a 12ga SxS

Re: mission accomplished
Where were you able to find/purchase the pistol/barrels? The pictures look nice.

Re: mission accomplished
Its a factory Rossi matched pair pistol. Comes with the .22 barrel and a 45colt barrel that has a screw in choke that allows you to shot .410 shells. Its a legal shotgun even though the barrel is under 18 inches because of the rifling. Anyway that what I've heard. Shoots almost the same pattern that a .410 shotgun with a 26inch barrel will.

Re: mission accomplished
Great pic! Where did you locate the steel shot? I can't find it anywhere lately.
